BE strong.
Look strong.

Guys are simple. Most of us aren’t trying to become record-setting powerlifters or juiced-up bodybuilders with bad spray tans. We want to be reasonably strong, relatively lean, and actually look like we work out. We want to walk into a coffee shop, restaurant, office, etc., and be bigger and stronger than most of the other dudes in the room.

Above-average muscle mass and below-average body fat are well within reach for most regular guys. Still, I see so many of them get overwhelmed with training options and never start or overcomplicate the process and fail to make any real progress.

I’ve spent the last 20 years trying to solve the fitness puzzle. The journey took me from a skinny, 160lb weakling to a not-so-skinny, 250lb powerlifter. I liked being stronger, but I was disappointed with my appearance.

After decades of experimentation, I figured out a solid strategy for packing on muscle, shedding body fat, and building a better-looking physique.

Along the way, I became a full-time coach, opened a gym, and wrote my first book, Radically Simple Strength, to share what I’ve learned and help others achieve similar goals.
